Public Charter Schools
Public Charter Schools are publicly funded but don’t follow the same guidelines as traditional public schools leaving them free to innovate. They are highly sought-after alternatives and typically have long waitlists so apply early. Beyond the waitlist, there is no other requirement to enroll and tuition is free. This a list of all public charter schools in Kootenai County. There are none in the three surrounding counties and one in far north Boundary County.
